My Playlist For Fashionably Yours!

Helllooooo lovely peeps!! I am so EXCITED to tell you that my debut novel which is a woman centered romantic comedy, FASHIONABLY YOURS, has been published in UK and USA and is getting a great response. I am so thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FASHIONABLY YOURS is a story of a girl from Shimla arriving in Mumbai withe the dreams of being a serious fashion writer. This book is written in a diary format and is a hilarious journey of the girl with the pinch of fashion, glamour and love.

The book is due to be launched in India by the end of November by Harlequin India and you can pre-order it at Flipkart and Infibeam which are offering the great discounts on pre-order. I guarantee you a 100% entertainment.

So, now you have pre-ordered Fashionably Yours and waiting for it to be delivered at your door steps, in the meanwhile please check out this tiny playlist which inspired me while writing the book:

·      *   Woman’s World- Cher: I absolutely love this song. This song has played a huge role in the character  development of Maya. Maya, the main protagonist of my book, is a very strong and an ambitious  woman. No matter how hard the situation is, she never gives up.

·     *    Fashion Show-Cory Lee: This is practically a theme song of Fashionably Yours. It’s such a  beautiful, cute and fashionably uplifting song.  All the glamour in the book is only and only because  of this song.

·     *    When You Say Nothing At All- Ronan Keating: I have heard every single song by Ronan Keating.  He has got the best voice ever and this song is soooooooo gorgeous and romantic that I couldn't help  but used it in the book when Maya and Aryan kissed for the first time. I went through some dark  personal stuff while writing the book and this song had done the wonderful job of hauling me out of  the darkness and helping me creating the sparks between Maya and Aryan.

Brighten Up Your Dull Day

Hey lovelies, How are you doing girls? Well today I am having one those dull days when you feel like staying under the duvet all day long and even the smallest things like a loose strand of hair against your cheeks can irritate you like hell. The reason of me having a dull day? Ah! Well I am suffering from the sudden outburst of hives which has restricted my activity to my bed in loose fitting cloths because apparently hives can get worse when you workout, take hot baths or stress about any stuff. This has stopped me going to my fitness dance classes this week and it had made me depressed beyond the words. I mean dancing brings me joy, freedom and of course fitness, which god know I need more than anything else. Lol!
So to brighten up my dull day I have planned to do these small but amazing things and if you too are having a dull or a gloomy day then join me in the party.
To brighten  up your dull day, all the ingredients you need are:
A cup or preferably a pot of coffee
Really good book preferably chick-lit
Couple of magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar or Glamour and if you can than buy Tatler
Few scented candles on your night stand. Try Bath and Body Works
And a pink nail polish. Maybelline New York's Colour Show range have some good ones. My favourite is coral one with the shade no. 211.

P.S: Don't forget to play some good music in the background while you get on with your brightening-up-the-day process. I love to listen 'Label or Love', 'Watch Me Shine' and  'I'm Woman' on such days!
Good Luck!

P.P.S: FYI if I feel better after all of it then I might forget about my hives and could go to my Zumba class in the evening and will thought about it consequences later. God knows I need this!

Day well spent !

I am really sick today thanks to excruciating back and neck pain. Since today I was going to stay indoors all day long, in my bed, under the duvet, I decided to spend my day fabulously with some leisure read and glamour. So, before slamming my bedroom door shut on rest of the world I popped out of the house (very briefly) to get these:

I am always in need of bit of glamour! Anyway, my day went brilliantly with these beauties on my lap and hot water bottle on my side! *Utter Bliss*
Now it's 12:30 A.M in my side of the world and I am not felling sleepy, not at all, not even tiny bit so I thought why not spend some time on researching for my (ahem!) novel. So very quickly I dig out the CD of my absolutely favourite movie "Bride Wars" and I am all set to cuddle up with it for next couple of hours! Mind you I am doing it only and only and only for the research purpose!
While I get down to my work, you gorgeous ladies just relax, have a glass of red or a huge cuppa of coffee (like me) or do whatever suits you but take care of yourselves and stay fabulous!
Love you sweethearts! xoxo
